FREE Matcha Set

At the heart of our tea ceremony sets is a handcrafted matcha bowl with a capacity of 430ml (diameter: 12 cm, height: 8 cm). Its flat base and high sides make it perfect for preparing your favorite matcha.

The perfectly colour-coordinated ceramic whisk holder (height: 7 cm, diameter: 6.3 cm) is an indispensable utensil for storing the matcha whisk so that it retains its typical shape and its bristles are protected.

Also included is an original Japanese matcha whisk (80 fine bristles), lovingly handcrafted in Japan. The same applies to the white bamboo matcha spoon (approx. 18 cm long), which ensures the optimal dosage of the matcha powder.

MATCHA PREPARATION - HOW TO PREPARE YOUR MATCHA QUICKLY AND EASILY

• Add 1-2 grams of matcha powder to a matcha bowl. The powder is best measured with a matcha bamboo spoon (chashaku)—in this case, that would be 1-2 heaped spoons of matcha powder.
• Next, add 50 ml of 80-degree hot water to the powder and froth it with a matcha whisk (chasen) for 15-20 seconds until the foam is nice and creamy. This is best achieved with quick, zigzagging movements of the wrist. Imagine you're tracing the letter W with the whisk.
• Once the surface is foamy throughout, add a little more hot water, if desired. The less water you add, the more intense the flavor of your matcha tea will be. The matcha can then be served and enjoyed, either on its own or with a small sweet.

MATCHA LATTE:Pour your matcha tea into the glass with the frothed cow's or plant-based milk. The matcha tea and milk will blend together, while the milk foam rises to the top, forming a beautiful head – your matcha latte is ready!
